designer Khodi Feiz continues its successful relationship with Artifort with a simple idea that sees two parts, a sliding through the other, working as a to form a comfortable chair. The combination of two parts molded foam padding, the chair fits together perfectly Niloo much like the two sides archetypal African chair the Congo region that inspired it.
In 1950, Artifort launched the President of Congo and Pinguïn, both designed by Theo Ruth, who were quite innovative at the time and inspired by the same type that Niloo. The new president brings full circle the idea and embraces the history of Artifort, while going forward in the future.
The design sees an inclined seat that fits through a slot on the winding back part continues to be the back leg.
