Lab Milk: Milk Designers Reinvent
before photo gallery Perhaps our initial attraction to this product comes from the namesake of this site, or is it because I, new mother to twins, the impression of a milk factory on a daily basis. Regardless, our interest is transformed funny coincidence to the discretion quickly.
The Milk Glass has debuted at the Milk Factory exhibition in Paris, which consisted of 10 professional designers and art students gathered by Claire Fayolle to consider the future of milk. Taste to the presentation, the entire milk process is now so developed, that we have lost our connection to the farm and cows.
The design team behind the fountain of milk, 5.5 designstudio, raises the question of the influence of the food industry on the formation of our taste, our relationship with nature and thus our ability to appreciate natural products. They looked for ways to reconnect consumers with producers. Considering how radically our relationship with the milk has changed over the years, they remind us of the past ... when raw milk directly from the breast, full of flavor, came in glass bottles from the farm our kitchen tables ... away from the process the milk we drink now.
