Penthouse Edgy modern design in white and light-colored wooden
Space Designer Josep Ruà transformed an apartment with a bet difficult page in Valencia, Spain in a contemporary penthouse with maximum functionality. Described as a fully insulated box outside with two private terraces, the apartment was really in need of a differentiation between day and night areas. Storage was also a challenge, mainly because of the size of small apartment - 753 square feet, including terraces. The first step was to cover the terraces and convert it into a master bedroom. The floor was divided into two halves by a curved wall, with a large library, helped soften the severity of the space. The social center of contemporary apartment is the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. wood accents paired with a palette and plenty of natural light light color make the space feel open and airy. Part of the kitchen is hidden behind an automatic door, which solves the problem of storage without aesthetic compromise. The interior decoration was realized in white natural wood and light color to create that feeling airy.
to make it look more eye-catching, the designer decided to focus on the edgy modern design with patterns and volume. He used fresh geometric cuts on kitchen walls and various sculptural constructions, for example, a white headboard in the bedroom or a fantastic sculptural white bathtub. The outdoor areas are connected with the interiors with the same colors, materials and sculptural forms that help inside and outside merge into one in a light, seamlessly
