House Plan with compact, efficient use of the volume and simple common internal market Finishes
This house is located on island scene, a small hilly peninsula surrounded by marsh and stage Harbor. Budgetary restrictions have led to a compact design and efficient use of the volume. To keep affordable, simple interior finishes cheap were also used. The living areas are mostly square of time with relatively low ceilings. The basement is an area of decent life with exposure on three sides. There is no built-in cabinets inside, except in the kitchen and there they are simple MDF. Countertops are mahogany, the floor is linoleum tiles real or southern yellow pine; rich looking, but relatively inexpensive materials. There is no chimney and no bridge. While the house looks rich and complex, it was cheaper to build than most other projects that look the same. [Polhemus Savery DaSilva]
