Stacked volumes Home With Moving Walls And Raised pool
This House, located in Melbourne, Australia, was designed Austin Maynard Architects as an open floor plan with private spaces. Build the house as three separate volumes created this opening to private design. And stacking the style of the pyramid three structures, the two main volume level are separated by a bridge that connects the front and rear gardens. Other aspects of the opening to the private design are floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows on both the front and rear facades while the east and west sides are almost windowless. The terrace at the front of the house is open, allowing a tree to grow through it and yet at the same time, is closed to the elements, allowing owners to enjoy the outdoors and stay dry on day one rain.
