the hot boiling summer days are upon us means a lot of time outdoors. Hopefully some of that time includes a bit of relaxation and reflection as you try to stay cool. There is no better way to spend the summer downtime than sitting in a swing and let the breeze sway gently back and forth. Here are ten areas that we wish were ours because we would like to relax and swing all summer.

designer Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan partner author and creative in its own right, owner of a getaway house on Shelter island, New York. The colored house, a house and a pool pavilion with a stage designed by Gray Organschi Architecture, a seventy California estimate that was created by the owners themselves, including the pool relaxing retreat with a swing chair.

Casa Abierta

Kube architecture is designed around a courtyard, which allowed for open, bright that expand outside. An offshore platform of the kitchen offers additional dining area and plenty of space to relax, especially in the suspended occasional chair.

This duplex in Tel Aviv was designed by architects + Toledano and it proves that, even if it is not a house on the ground floor, you can still have an outside area. This one has a roof terrace with a wooden pergola into the single swing.

Located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, this full serene space is part of Aigai Spa, which was designed by figueroa.arq, but it might as well be someone's house. The elongated pool runs along the terrace at one end hangs a colorful rocking chair.

Studio 19, a student program at Unitec Institute of Technology Auckland, designed Onemana the house in a coastal town on the North island of New Zealand on land terrain slope. Working with students admitted the couple to give a custom built house, which was built on the campus during the 12 months. The outdoor terrace, which includes a swing wicker chair, is level with the floor of the house making it a natural extension of the interior.

Nicole Hollis designed this contemporary home in Hawaii for a couple who were from Southern California who fell for the Kona coast for a long time. The house has indoor / outdoor living that is complete with a relaxing swing bench to enjoy the Hawaiian breeze.

AssemblageSTUDIO tresARCA designed the house in Las Vegas, Nevada with plenty of outdoor space, including a part is covered to beat the heat. One of these sections is an outdoor lounge which has a sofa and rocking bands of integrated fire for chilly nights.

famous producer and author of hit TV show Girls Jenni Konner and Richard partner Shepard, hired architect Barbara Bestor of Bestor architecture, to re-imagine their 1963 2,500 square foot home in the Hollywood hills. Michelle Frier was in charge of the landscape, which includes native plants and a swing Egg Patricia Urquila for Kettal to sit and enjoy the nature that surrounds it.
