Escaping modern urban life was still popular but lately more and more important due to technological advances. Murdock Young Architects has designed an amazing house for a family with close friends who want to spend a weekend or a week near a beautiful lake Michigan, with great nature around.

4,500 square feet with pool 50- foot tower, a 1,800 square foot three bedroom guest house and barn are located across the lake. Each structure is centered on a large open room to the north water views and the sunshine and the southerly breeze. The structures combine modern design with wood painted white, large expanses of glass, walls painted pine boards, exposed structural trusses, pine painted gray floors, and wood storage elements float-plated which subdivide the interior.
