Modern Home With Japanese aesthetic On The Jerusalem Hills
The CY House, sitting on a plot of 350 square meters, has a roof covered with aluminum and wrap around windows which give a wonderful view of the luscious olive trees, prickly leaves of cypress and orange trees. The high ceilings, walls of glass and natural lighting blend harmoniously with the landscape and the natural flora. Natural materials such as wood, concrete, iron, aluminum, meet unexpectedly. The internal height of the clean interior, white has been doubled, and has a staircase exposed iron and a floor to ceiling library - accessible from one of the two floors - in addition to the exposed piping and a bridge which runs the full length of the upper floor. In the main living area of the house, facing the lush backyard, the ceiling reaches a majestic five meters in height, which rises to a striking 6 meters towards the front.
