1. Nest Magazine
I keep the full collection of bed and return frequently by before sleeping it permeate my dreams. The publication combined with detailed, thoughtful and erratic graphics with editing techniques ingenuitive all to describe some of the best idiosyncratic interiors. Revisiting these well layered images is still useful -. I feel good with my work lost in a perverse landscape of his own creation

Led by my close friend Cynthia Chang, his shop at most an online store, a real iteration of life in his studio. Karsts of eclectic objects paper mache that have no business like display elements are draped with clothing to built good locker tissue market and cut dollars mops store and bouncing balls. Everything is perfect for the party - not adjusted, filled with motion and affordable enough that it encourages you to live your life in full negligence

3. My Juki

I mean, that thing paid for itself a thousand times. I bought this model in 1980 off a hoarder in New Jersey who had usurped from a Philippine sewing workshop. In the box were several framed pictures of her shih tzu and parrot playing together and a pin cushion that is a small sofa that helps set the scene in the sewing area .. Couture has many interesting applications, and it is my preferred method to fix anything. I love how he can combine things with a line of quality that is similar to how we draw, with some life in it.

4. My boat
There are a few years, I bought a 1979 Lil Hobo barge. It is a model while fiberglass is a tiny cabin aboard a small boat. He needs endless work, but I like to have something that is just an excuse for my imagination run wild. I redesign everything every week in my head. It is different from the way I design my furniture, because I imagine at some point, he will meet a tragic end when, as a lame horse, I'm going to have five bullet holes in the hull and swim to shore while he plunges his disappearance East River. This sets up an imaginary good head space where the coating of the whole thing with shells and filled straws resin starts seeming quite reasonable.

It is this part of the day when Katie Stout and I ask the other if it is allowed to start drinking. Usually it is beer or wine, or perhaps Campari, but I think the Chartreuse is the most special because of the bright color. An afternoon drink exchange part of the decision making, and things may be heading in a different direction. Sometimes it is terrible and the next morning there are some re-do, but sometimes we EGG each other on and objects that result have gone much deeper into the abyss.
