Extension modern London Home
Crawford Partnership, an architectural firm based in London, is responsible for adding modern extension to the house occupied part of the city near Camden town. The extension includes a kitchen and open dining room with an extra bedroom and office above. The roof of the extension is covered with sedum, which is very popular in Germany for green roofs. This roof is not only made positive impacts to ecology, but also creates a great view from the top store of the original house. Creating such an extension in the garden covered with walls made more closed and private. The walls also reduces the noise of the streets of the occupied city.
The extension is built from glass and Prodema Lignum, an architectural coating material made from cellulose fibers bonded by a resin covered with a wood veneer and an acrylic finish. The Prodema panels are very durable and weather resistant, not to mention very modern in look and design.
