The Fab Lab House by IAAC is a breakthrough in system integration solar. It has an organic form, some hi-tech features and an affordable cost of construction. The house is mainly wood, plywood and other materials that are available globally, light and manageable. It offers not only a rounded shape that allows a maximum internal volume with minimum external surface but is high on the floor on three "legs" to create a space under the house for some outdoor activities. The solar house can comfortably accommodate a family of 4 to less than 75 m2, allowing to manufacture and build all less than a fortnight housing. It also generates three times the energy it consumes and is also home to an orchard to produce food.
