before photo gallery Designed by Jörg Boner for the Swiss company DADADUM furniture, chair Cresta is the first chair wooden hull of solid ash. By mixing the Swiss heritage with technology and modern aesthetics, Boner created a beautifully raw product to withstand the test of time.
Cresta is inspired by the Stabelle, a secular chair that was used in the Swiss domestic since the 16th century. Although simple in design, some unique features that focus on comfort and beauty give the chair an updated look and feel. First, the finger joint technology connects the seat and back in a way that follows the contours of the body to create comfort. Instead of circular legs, an oval shape was chosen for a delicate look, but strong support. Last but not least, the front legs are pushed closer to the back legs to form a rare form of K.
available in 6 different colors, the Cresta is currently available only in Switzerland but DADADUM plans to deliver the rest of Europe later this year. We have our fingers crossed for shipping worldwide soon.
