Contemporary Dutch Design House - House In Museumlaan by Cino Zucchi
This house is located in the small Dutch town in the south eastern province of Overijssel on the border with Germany. It is located between other houses around and focused on the difference between the side of the face, defined by dark brown gray bricks, and the back side, where the private garden. Although the exterior of the house is big enough, inside it is much smaller and more intimate. Although there is everything the family would need and more. In addition to large common areas of life there are many little extra space generated by the links between the stores and houses placed almost randomly. The whole house shows the love of the architect asymmetry: the position of the elements (windows, floors, rooms) and a variety of materials (painted wood, aluminum, glass, brick, etc.). The ground floor offers a variety of environments and living spaces: kitchen, dining room, areas, TV and study rooms. There is no basement in the house because the double garage is included in the volume of construction, but there is the tower room with an interior height of 3.7 meters. Although the project is not like the design of traditional European houses, it is still fine example of contemporary architecture. [Cino Zucchi]
