Sheoak House, designed by Base Architecture, is located in Kingscliff, New South Wales, Australia. The black box on a waterfront land is designed in an informal style, relaxed, comfortable and welcoming. The house of 350 square meters is done in the mixture of steel, wood and concrete. It is resistant to weather conditions such as wind, salt and sun. The double height entrance with grass underfoot and natural landscape consists of a semi space inside / outside built WeatherBoards clear. The area is designed for the combination to be left in the dark laundry and racking surfboards. The ground level has an open plan pretty simple and open to a courtyard and pool. Upstairs consists of room and equipment room bedroom single bathroom that interact with the ground level and entry via a series of voids and openings. Overall this house evokes openness and a relaxed feeling that characterizes what a beach house should be.
