Uncluttered Home Open Poolside outside
It is summer and all thoughts are on vacation, the beaches, the sea and swimming pools. That is why, today, instead of a usual home, we share a beautiful and harmonious home poolside. This house off-the-grid that is little more than a decked camping but with a roof includes a swimming pool for a family who likes to enjoy the elements. Affectionately called Camp Baird, the house is situated on a plot of 165 acres near a campground owners had visited for years. Native plants resistant to drought have been incorporated into the property. A modern interpretation of traditional dogtrot home, Baird Camp has two cabins placed along a direction in the shape of L. A, an elongated solar heated pool runs along the side facing south, next to a expansive ipe deck measuring nearly 1,0 square feet. Although the house has a full bathroom, there is an outdoor shower for bathing. In accordance with the active lifestyle of the family, the kitchen is also located outside; south of it, a net area of the porch, dressed in black and ipe fiberglass mesh used for impromptu dining. The interior decor is super simple, covered with natural wood and absolutely clean. Each room is completely open to the outside as the owners enjoy spending time there. I especially like the porch decor - it's a piece of glass open to the outside even if the weather is bad, you will feel out there. The 82 foot long pool is quite a lot of use, especially by children, who are both on the local swim team.
