Thanda is a new online store that carries products ethically made in the house of South Africa. Their philosophy is to support small businesses, while providing skills training and income for communities in South Africa. The first product they launch is a collection of four tablets and iPad cases that are printed by hand with four individual designs.

Coming in two sizes, the cases are manufactured from cement bags of recycled paper and merged with cotton. Light and durable, the materials used to create cases make them ideal for tabletting because they are resistant to tearing, but also easy to carry around. Liquid glass nano-coating also makes the case water resistant, while the interior has a soft black cotton lining.
