sustainable home with large expanses of glass - Flyway View House by Jon Anderson -
The Flyway View House is designed by Jon Anderson and architecture located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The concept of the design was to maximize views of bird habitat and enjoy sun exposure and passive ventilation. simple sustainable materials and careful use of glass blends indoor and outdoor living spaces. Overhangs protect living areas from the heat of the summer, but use the sun for passive heat gain during winters. All exterior walls are made in concrete blocks. The roof terrace is steel. The large glass surfaces are constructed from storefront components with a black anodized finish
