House N in Moscow was originally built in the 190s, then completely updated by the studio 4a Architekten removing all non-load bearing interior walls and creating large expanses of glass on the exterior walls. Domestically opened and a magnificent staircase, cascading chandelier and furniture kept low profile vertical add drama. This simple choice of 3 different materials in 3 different styles creates a modern, minimalist design that is in complete harmony. The interiors are minimalist in fact all the spaces in the house have been given a modern facelift whether by the architecture itself or the choice of furnishings and decor.
