slices reinterprets Bookshelf Classic
Alessandra Meacci took a different approach when it came to the design of a shelf. Instead of the typical design, slices is a series of wall modules with panels that protrude perpendicular to the rear which then become places of books to rest between. These different sized panels are arranged to form three-dimensional elements, such as fish in blue 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea version and giant green leaves in the book version of the jungle.
