Scandinavian One-Storey House with Asymmetrical Roof - Folded Roof House
Folded Roof House is designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune and located near Stockholm in a heavily wooded area. It is a one storey house with a roof folded asymmetrical plan reminiscent of the wings of a butterfly. The outer material mixes with a natural environment very well. The rooms are positioned at the gable ends and the living room is between, with an open façade. The interior also has a lot of natural materials and very good contemporary Scandinavian design. Although it looks quite modern natural elements are really comfortable. Almost the entire house is prefabricated construction process was not as difficult as it could be.
