Pyramid sustainable and Airy Cottage in Iceland
This beautiful pyramid cottage in Iceland is durable and charming that I just can ' t take my eyes of it! The house is kept warm by geothermal water. Pipes in the floor to keep warm and comfortable all year. The electricity comes from a close by electric power geothermal energy, hot water comes from a hot source and the cold water is natural spring water from a well. The cottage has a symmetrical design composed of two steep pyramids separated by the entrance hall, and there is a huge hot tub outside. The use of light wood and white walls makes the house an open and airy space. One room is a loft with skylights - to watch the northern lights. Up the stairs to the loft to watch the sky through the triangular skylights. This home is perfect for enjoying the northern nature at its best
