Outstanding Swimming Pool House Design by Hariri & Hariri Architecture -

New York based Hariri & Hariri Architecture designed this pool pool house in the suburbs of Connecticut, which could easily become the main house. Its total area is 365 square meters and is designed using minimalism and early modernism elements. The architecture of the pool house is in total harmony with the pool and its surroundings. Its main feature is an angular arch parallel to the entire length of the pool which is unusual for this type of buildings. It gives great protection against the sun during the summer and below it is the ideal place for a nice dinner on the open air. In the northern part of the house to the pool is a spa area with outdoor and indoor showers. Inside the building are the usual elements of entertainment and relaxation: bar, kitchen, bathroom and and small terraces. The materials that were used during the construction are natural stone and Ipe (Brazil nut). [Hariri & Hariri Architecture]
