One-Of-A-Kind Penthouse With Architectural Details
This modern and elegant interior renovation was done by Matthew Bremer architecture in training. This duplex penthouse of 1,500 square feet is a one-of-a-kind home with a sexy and sophisticated ambience. A palette of colors allows minimal architectural details take the stage as the folded origami, plate steel and Corian staircase leading to the second floor. There is a series of wall panels that mimic the lights of the Manhattan nightscape. The white panels are backlit with LEDs giving the apartment a dream backdrop of its own. The sculptural staircase contributes to the wide section of the large living room without closing the whole. A backlit mirrored wall in one of the bedrooms, with the same dotted pattern as the white wall down, mask the TV screen.
