Modern and fresh Of An Old Workshop
Renovation of industrial space in the living has already become a trend. This house was once the workshop of a carpenter Victorian that has been converted into a space of two bedrooms, loftlike Live / Work. The ground floor has a small kitchen hidden under the stairs to a second loft bedroom. The house was painted white, but the original wooden beams and woodwork has been left as it is. I like the old fireplace and brick clad in the center of the house. The owner, Anna Barham, a graphology artist, provided the interior with a mix of antiques and classic midcentury and textiles, so that the space feels fresh and unstudied.
