Kew House on the Edge
Australian firm, Jackson Clements Burrows Architects created this house on the edge of escarpment. The house has a beautiful view of the river Yarra and Studley Park Golf. This is not to their first project in interesting site conditions. A residential area after the expiry of the Yarra River? The land falls 11.5 feet.
The architects created a form of steel and copper-titanium-coated three parts, two tones for the home that telescope gradually from front to rear. The three shells that make up the horizontal stacking block entry form contain a shell with the study and a garage, an average package with rooms, bathrooms and laundry room, and a tip envelope with kitchen, dining room and living spaces. The three forms are suspended in the tree canopy with a support structure of circular columns in two tones. the bottom part of this level of the platform is a glass surface with an extra bedroom, bathroom, storage and living areas, a synthetic grass flooring and children? area.
