This contemporary home LEED Platinum residence that covers four levels of a hill in Mill Valley, California. It is designed by SB Architects based in San Francisco, and built by the green well known manufacturer of construction McDonald. The steep site provides a vertical design with lounge and private areas on several floors separated. The total area of the interior spaces is 2116 square feet while the balconies and terraces took 1,567 square feet. These outdoor spaces offer breathtaking views of the bay and the skyline of San Francisco beyond. The exterior and interior are both done with the help of most natural materials. Among the green features of the house are: low-flow fixtures, efficient LED lighting, Energy Star appliances, automation throughout the house, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, and many others.
