Fairhaven Residence is a house 3800 square feet that consist collection of simple geometric boxes. The boxes are oriented and open hills and views surrounding the house. The rooms and views it occur alternately as sheltered groves and vistas open during the walk in the woods. The entry areas, living room and dining room have exposed steel and wood structure and polished concrete floors that flow over the landscape. A garden "shadow" in the heart of the home offers glimpses of bamboo, water and light from nearly every room, while the upper floor is slightly rotated to capture more light and views .
