Boxhome - All Weather Modern Prefab House
The weather in Northern Europe is not very stable. Usually, the houses must be heated over half consecutive year. For example, the time in Oslo, Norway is cold and therefore unpredictable Rintal Eggertsson Architects created a great prefabricated house of 19m² which is easy to heat and has the elegant appeal. The project is called Boxhome and is more user-friendly ecological and economical than building the common house. Although this house is not an option for the main house of the family, it is great as a summer home or cottage. The prefabricated house has four rooms covering the basic living functions: kitchen with dining room, bathroom, living room and bedroom. With such a modern, minimalist look of the house could become very popular in Scandinavia countries.
