Super Modern Design House with roof Living
Edgeland House was built on a plot of Austin cliff by architect Thomas Bercy science fiction writer Chris Brown, and the owner of the work is reflected in the design of the house is really a house of the future - edgy, geometric and built in steel and glass! The land required a complicated excavation process, providing an opportunity to Bercy to partially bury the house, then it was topped with a living roof to help blend into the landscape.
The concrete, steel, and glass house is divided into two distinct halves public and private. The kitchen really hit lightly and a lot of lights, which were obtained with extensive use of glass. A counter table with terrariums on it looks very modern and edgy, adding that science fiction feel. The owners have designed the steel stairs to the home office at the mezzanine in the main room below the stairs and looks rather futuristic - consisting of two lines with different height steps. As the pavilion into public spaces, the structure containing the rooms is covered with glass on the inner sides facing the courtyard, which enables a constant connection to the outside.
All rooms and spaces are decorated in a modern style and laconic manner, mostly with neutrals, black and white furniture and accessories. The outdoor area continues the futuristic theme of science fiction and the decor of the house with a pool triangle and a fresh platform that links together two pavilions. Thank you to the intelligent design and a living roof, the house blends easily into the landscape if its design is super modern and somewhat futuristic.
