Single storey Grille House - Casa Grelha by FGMF
Only 6500 square meters 24,000 square meters in area are not covered by native intact forest that is protected permanently. The topography of the area consist of large natural stones and trees and the house is located in a small valley that protects in the wind. Three goals was to choose durning the design and construction: the demand for single story home, the desire to connect at home surrounding nature, and must provide personal information to family members. High humidity of the site has been home above the ground.
The frame of the house is a grid of wooden structure that consist of 5.5 × 5.5x3m modules. Some of these modules are empty allowing trees to cross the structure. The house consists of the owner's apartment, social area, laundry area, guest room, and three isolated modules, with each bedroom, for children. On the top of the highest hill is the recreation pavilion that has the most generous views. There are also 3 other lodges services with garage, house and maid rooms for maids. [FGMF]
