Renovated Eighteenth Century House with addition
The restoration of this house of the eighteenth century in an apple orchard Country located in Columbia, New York is by Messana O'Rorke. The house was built huge wooden hand carved. This, some floor coverings and wide edge of a mud wall miraculously preserved in the stone basement of the fields are almost all that remained of the original house. It has become a modern, minimalist house with an addition, the bold but simple combination of old and new. Every building is the only one still interconnected.
