Partially Buried Lake House With Nature In Let
New York Architects + Gluck designed this beautiful lake house in Adirondack, New York, surrounded by nature and in fact, covered with a roof garden on the grass hiding within its earthy surroundings. The house really sank into the earth, but in spite of its façade flooding inland lakes with lots of natural light and views breathtaking. The interior of the residence is a cool combination of contemporary and earthy walls, glass and let nature. The edge between the building and the natural shape of the earth emerges and retires with the geometry of the two buildings. Sliding wooden screens give privacy to the interior without compromising the view while hiding the tree house.
