Modern Zen Moscow apartment with a courtyard
traditional Japanese interiors and natural landscapes influenced the design of this apartment Moscow, which has been recently renovated by local studio M17. One of the focal points of the design is a 19 meters long polygonal wall made of wood veneer panels. faceted appearance of the wall is intended to represent the rough stone mountains. It runs the entire length of the apartment, hiding the main entrance, service rooms, kitchen and wardrobe of sight. The central part of the functions of the house as a large open space that can accommodate a relaxation area and dining room. A small courtyard separating the bedroom and bathroom to the communal area. The walls inside these two spaces were covered with wooden planks inspired by Japanese traditional habitat. To the right of the garden walls were replaced with opaque sliding panels that open to reveal a tea ceremony room.
