Modern apartment with industrial characteristics and relaxing atmosphere
The renovation of an apartment in Kiev, Ukraine , was made by Svoya studio focused on the creation of a large open floor plan and a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The overall design is a combination of modern and industrial characteristics with a slight rustic touch. Wooden planks and ceramic tiles used for flooring are of local origin, the studio has also included a series of their own creations, which includes lighting and other accessories. The apartment has been decorated with paintings by local artists, which supports the concept described so far. The team used a series of rather unusual strategies as including an indoor hammock in the living space and the use of hanging lamps as decorations. Other interesting features include a custom accent wine rack tucked into a corner between the kitchen and the dining room.
