Minimalist House over a vineyard - Wilson House
This minimalist house is located above a vineyard in the Yarra valley north of Melbourne. It is designed by Denton Corker Marshall and consist of two thin rectangular plates which are supported by a series of black concrete walls parallel fixed perpendicularly to them and by the hill. Full height glazing installed longitudinally between the plates. Each plate is 50m long and 11m wide and the roof plate is supported by in internal steel columns. The lower level contains the entry, parking, wine cellar, office and guest houses. The upper level contains the master bedroom, second bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. External sliding door is what separates this internal space of the upper terrace level. [Denton Corker Marshall]
