Minimalist Amsterdam apartment with plenty of open space
This Amsterdam apartment is a renovation project by Mamm Designing a duplex in a 85-year-old housing for a family of four. Since they were not raised in Amsterdam where they have lots of bad weather, their request was to have maximum sunlight into the house. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet are packed in the tower, using the existing pipe box. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet are packed in the tower, using the existing pipe box. Designers have taken away the stairs, walls and part of the slab from the top floor, so that the sunlight can spread throughout the house, and the family was connected at the same time, as they desired.
