Roger Lee was a decent Chinese native Californian born in Oakland in 1920 who died in Hawaii at age 61 graduated from Cal Berkeley, Lee opened her own practice in 1949 and quickly became the a leading modern architects of his time along with other iconic figures such as Neutra and Wurster. Lee designed a little over 100 custom homes, mainly in northern California and was known as an architect "high style designed for the middle class."
