Luxurious Holiday Villa Design Eden On Lake Garda

The western shore of Lake Garda is characterized by mild climate and rich cultural landscape. David Chipperfield Architects has built a villa on the hill overlooking the seaside town of Gardone Riviera, which was inspired by the famous limonaias - buildings where lemons are grown behind high walls. The building is carefully inserted into the landscape with its olive and cypress trees. The volume is divided into individual structures which are offset to each other following the topography of the hill. A private swimming pool is located between the structures, it is not large but very stylish. Behind the pergolas, wood-framed floor-to-ceiling windows offer extensive views of the Mediterranean landscape.
