incredible office and recreational Getaway in the backyard - Banyan Drive Treehouse
This creation part office / studio, part leisure getaway is designed by Rockefeller Partners Architects. It is located at the base of a pine tree in the backyard of the house owned by an artist and nature lover. The Treehouse is 170 square feet and is perched twelve feet from the ground. Although modest in size, the plan is effective and a studio / living room and a washroom. Deep oiled wood siding, windows, mahogany and Rheinzink roof were selected for their natural qualities and rich palette. The Treehouse has a natural fireplace and views it is a great place to "create". [ Rockefeller Partners Architects | Photography by Eric Staudenmaier ]
