This unusual house is located in Big Sur, California, was created by Carver + Schicketanz. The goal was to create a retreat that would merge with the landscape, and the result is here - Hill House. Hill was added in the architecture, the house is partially in it. A large green roof covering the underground part of the house; all capabilities are underground to save the landscape. The interior is cool: amazing brute stone wall adds to the ambience of the living room; shabby wooden wall above the fireplace seems so natural! The style is simple and minimalist wooden furniture in warm colors which brings softness and comfort inside.
