Greek villa with minimalist aesthetics and Accent Floors
Located in Kifissia, a northern suburb of Athens, Greece, quiet 19th century villa of George K. Karampella, owner and creative director of concept store TR2 and his wife Lida Koutarelli Marina is an oasis of peace. The interior styling is minimalist, with lots of sunlight coming in through large windows, and floors are a feature of emphasis in each room. I love the sleek feel and magnificent works of art that contrast with minimalist spaces. The fireplaces in several rooms also include accent features, they are not minimalist - I would say modern but refined. The villa is a beautiful example of how the minimalist aesthetic can highlight beautiful works of art in a different style.
