1. Shotoku glass
I visited these amazing glass blowers in Tokyo last November and has had the opportunity to bring some of their beautiful and carefully glasses in hand, called "Usuhari". They are well known glasses; super thin, clear and born of the same techniques as the manufacture of light bulbs. It is my absolute favorite drink; the feel of it in my hands is just amazing.
2. Windows
At school, at work, traveling; since childhood, I have always needed to sit by the window. Looking, daydreaming, watching; it is essential for me, I prefer to watch instead of my phone. Now I have my office directly in front of a huge, old paned window in my studio, and I love how each panel divides setting and offers a separate view.
3. Acts of kindness
If you look around you'll see random acts of kindness everywhere; particularly lost items set up in the trees, fences, etc., to make it easier for the owner to find them. I started to take pictures of these strange objects and literally moved there for years; they make me happy and give me hope for the future.
4. Voyager
The world is my oyster. I travel for business and pleasure whenever possible and relevant. And when traveling I bring my beautiful book TRAVELER. It has a beautiful leather cover and I like the weathered look that comes with use and the passage of time, giving it a personality. Last but not least, I cherish the memories, ideas and thoughts captured indoors.
5. Måslia (mountain)
Cross-country skiing is a passion, and my favorite place to do it is back on the west coast of Norway, where the mountains meet the fjords. I aspire to these mountains, and experience to move silently through the calm and tranquil winter Nature. It is good for the body and mind, with beautiful scenery serving as inspiring backdrop.
