Completely wooden house and protected nature Disasters
Muelle house is located on the Big Island of Chiloe, Chile . It is designed by Jonas Retamal, overlooking the fjord Castro. The area has a very unstable climate so that the house, which is on the choice of location 28% slope, is protected against fire, cold, wet weather and other disasters of nature may cause. Probably Muelle home is one of the last houses of the region entirely of wood. Many native wood taken from a nearby forest: peanuts, and tepa ulmo. Thank you to their difference with lots of different colors with similar theme inside and outside the house. There are three volumes in the house. The first includes the service areas and a barbecue. Two other levels have rooms and private rooms for parents and children 6 and are connected by common area with combined kitchen, dining room and living room with a large terrace.
