Colorful Eclectic House Renovated With repurposed materials
hot, reused building materials are favored in this renovation warned by MARK + VIVI. The light of a new skylight pours into lobby and lounge of the house. steel columns and beams have been added for structural reinforcement, and the couple left all the beams, old and new presentations. The original staircase and handrail have been preserved in the renovation. Locally from the Canadian plywood was used for the flooring throughout the house, and all doors and windows have been replaced by low-energy upgrades. In the living room and throughout the house, down "book corners" are used to provide a space saving. the eclectic style and various upcycled materials makes the house very personal and special, inspired!
