Coastal rustic gray stone house
I've never seen a mixture of these incompatible styles - rustic and coastal, but what a perfect combination! This is a 1800 renovated cottage in Mousehole, Cornwall, England. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor, a living room and kitchen on the first floor, plus an autonomous holiday adjoining bedroom flat let. By removing the ceiling to expose the rafters A-frame, the show immediately gained an incredible sense of space, coupled with a chic beach hut feel. The color palette used in this house was inspired by the ever-changing landscape of sea and sky proved inspiration. gray and stone tones were associated with white for a decision on the vintage classic coastal look - sloping roof add to the theme. The floor is made of scaffolding planks washed with mineral spirits and sealed with wax oil.
