Clean Design House with a lap pool 75 feet - Jai House by LOHA -

The Jai House is designed by LOHA as a study of the interaction between the building and the landscape. It is located on a gently sloping site with views of the Santa Monica Mountains in California, USA. The primary level houses the main public areas and acts as a buffer to Mulholland Highway. It urges the earth at one end and floats above the ground at the other opening fully to the views and canyon beyond. A pool 75 feet slices through the building and marks the entry of air. The higher volume, which is at an angle of 0 degrees to the lower level houses the result of the master bedroom which frames a view of the mountains.
