Beach House with unexpected views of hills instead of the ocean
Designed by Architects DRN this beach house has no direct view of the ocean, so it is facing a most unexpected landscape. The open horizon of the Pacific has been replaced by the view of nearby hills to the west, and the protected area defined by a group of existing trees. This independent court, isolated from the intense life of the summer of the seaside town of Cachagua, offers a retreat calmed to take distance from the city. Here, the close relationship with the topography stimulates spontaneous external traffic between parts, giving equal importance to the inner life of the house for outdoor events, trying to improve the informal status of the house and the beach the possibility of living "outdoors".
