Architect house surrounded by nature Untouched
Freelon Group specialize mainly in public projects, although one of their architects, Michael A. Rantilla, rebuilt his private residence in Raleigh, North Carolina. The house of three store was designed to address some obstructions on the site, such as zoning setbacks, a stream buffer and a steep slope. Each stage formed of a different material and placed at right angles against each other. The first stage is a combination of glass with the exterior concrete and glass with marble inside. The long roof where enough room is located to walk is accessible from the second floor. The third floor is almost transparent giving the opportunity to breathtaking views of nature. In addition to the beautiful outdoor nature inside the house mostly made of natural materials. Not only marble, but the wood, bamboo, ipe are widely used. The overall interior appearance is rustic and modern. [Freelon Group]
