A look at BKLYN DESIGNS 2016
We returned to BKLYN DESIGNS this year, the beginning of NYCxDESIGN, where we took the best designers and manufacturers who call Brooklyn home. Modern furniture, lighting, accessories, jewelry, and art, organized the show featured over 70 brands who put their blood, sweat, tears, and expertise in beautifully crafted pieces. Take a look at some of our favorites:

Bole Road Textiles are doing fine in electrifying color palettes. As with all their textile, they are designed to Brooklyn and handwoven in Ethiopia, which helps to support local artisans.
The Rocking PacMan, Sawkill Lumber Co., really shaken. Not only can you fit more people rocking in opposite directions, but its silhouette resembles the 80s character beloved game, Pac-Man. In addition, all wood is recovered from a distillery NYC mid-century.
Think Fabricate began his dialogue table and bench. The solid maple wood has a geometric design with brass inlay, which was inspired by the hexagon, a form of studio integrated into their work recently.
Evan Z. Crane still pulls out all the stops when it releases new pieces of furniture and his latest is no exception. The sofa I Beam combines different materials and fabrics, such as those of De Islas.
HENDO showed this really cool mixture of thin tables that can be fitted together or arranged in different configurations.
Design School of Pratt Institute presents the work of current and former students. These 3D wallpapers were amazing, even without wearing 3D glasses!
Kate Casey, Peg Wood, was killed with wooden furniture which includes woven seats. His latest is this bench with a high woven painstakingly perfect.
Come Out For Serena Chang Coast makes these beautiful, hand casted sculptural planters with molds are made with old bubble wrap and Styrofoam.
Den of thieves chopping blocks featuring eye-catching geometric patterns through the different woods used.

Loved take unusual Robert Sukrachand on a shelf - hardened shelves and only three legs!
marine grade high voltage shock cords The headquarters of GIVE, Studio Sam Keene, hid (bungee cords, mainly) that make this wooden stool comfortable when someone is seated.
Designed by AphroChic, micro attic was equipped with resources furniture, as this table that turns into a small console table to a dining table solid and a kitchen (below) with appropriately sized devices AJ Madison.
