100-Year-Old Schoolhouse Amsterdam is a modern Loft
A historic Dutch school earned a residential recast by Studio standard. The interior design is modern with light industrial decorative touches, it offers a warm and modern respite while respecting the colorful history of the school. In the simple living, birch integrated in storage under the stairs provides a place to store children's toys and a platform for playing and sitting. The kitchen is open to the main living area and has a custom birch pegboard wall. Adding loft gave space for a home office and music area. The family chose to give up an office dedicated to the floor, instead of the priorities of private rooms for each child. Shelving and a wall anchor desk top of the attic background
